| Ingredients: Kakarakayalu 4 Medium size onion 11/2
 Grated Jaggary  small cup
 Red chillies
 Urd dal 1spoon Vegetable oil 4 spoons Mustard and cumin 2spoons Turmaric powder 1/4 spoon Chilly powder 1spoon Salt 1 spoon
 Procedure:Cut the kakarakaya into small pieces,mix them well with alittle bit  salt and termaric powder.Cook
                                             them  for 5 min. in microwave.In the mean while cut the onions into small pieces. Take a thick bottom vessel,heat
                                             it and now add oil. After heating that add urd dal,mustard, cumin and red chillies.Fry them and now add onion pieces.Stir
                                             them for a while and now add kakarakaya pieces. Stir them well,add turmeric powder and salt .Put the lid and cook  well
                                             until they soften .Stir in between.Now add jaggery and chilly powder.Mix it well and cook in low heat .When
                                             it becomes thick, off the heat.Tastes good for a week or more. Serve it with hot rice.
