Ingredients: Allam 50 grams
Dried chillies 40
Tamarind 100 gr Grated Jaggery 2 cups Curry
leaves Red chillies 2
chana dal 2 spoons
Urd dal 2spoons
Vegetable oil 50 gr
Mustard and cumin 2spoons
Garlic 6 cloves
Turmaric powder 1/4 spoon
Procedure: Cook the tamarind in hot water for 5 min. and keep it aside to cool. Heat the oil, fry the dried
chillies and keep them aside. Fry 1spoon chana dal, 1spoon urd dal, cumin,allam and garlic. Let all the ingridents
cool. First grind the chillies and dals, now add tamarind paste,jaggry and termeric powder and salt. Make it paste. Do
popu with the remaining ingidients.
